Mr. George was born a long time ago in Phoenix, Arizona. His first 18 years were full of reading Marvel Comics, watching Star Trek and Thundercats, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and throwing rocks at his neighbors. With dreams of becoming a journalist, he came to California to study at Pomona College. After graduating, he began substitute teaching, never intending a career in education. However, he loved being in the classroom and was delighted to land his first long-term job at Sierra Vista where he's been teaching for over twenty years. Mr. George feels so lucky to work at Sierra Vista where he can work alongside some of the greatest teachers in the universe and among the greatest young people in the galaxy. Teaching truly is the greatest job in the world and Sierra Vista is surely the happiest place on Earth.
